Join Our Team as a Collections Representative – Where Empathy Meets Excellence!
Are you a people person with a knack for problem-solving and a passion for helping others? We’re looking for a Collections Representative to join our growing financial services team. This is a soft collections role where exceptional customer service is the key to success.
What You’ll Do:
+ Connect with customers by phone to understand and resolve payment issues with empathy and professionalism.
+ Negotiate payment plans and offer flexible solutions that work for both the customer and the company.
+ Maintain accurate records and update account information using our computer systems.
+ Educate customers on the consequences of delinquency and guide them toward resolution.
+ Perform skip tracing and ensure compliance with all federal regulations, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
+ Collaborate with internal teams and occasionally support field collection efforts.
+ Take on additional responsibilities as needed—your voice and ideas matter here!
What You Bring:
+ A high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience in collections or customer service—especially in banking or finance—is a plus.
+ Strong communication skills: you’re clear, confident, and compassionate on the phone.
+ A calm, professional demeanor—even in tough conversations.
+ Solid negotiation and follow-up skills.
+ Ability to work independently, stay organized, and prioritize tasks.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ A basic understanding of loans, credit cards, and collection processes is helpful.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
