Role Overview

This role involves building and maintaining WordPress websites for clients using PHP. The ideal candidate will write clean, scalable code and collaborate cross-functionally with designers and other developers. The position also includes technical troubleshooting, performance optimization, and occasional client training or support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using PHP, HTML, and JavaScript

• Write efficient, modular, and well-documented code

• Optimize website performance and page speed

• Identify and fix bugs and technical issues

• Collaborate with designers and developers to implement features and design changes

• Provide client support and documentation as needed

• Stay current with WordPress, PHP, and front-end development best practices

• Integrate AI tools or workflows where relevant to improve efficiency

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PHP, WordPress, HTML, and JavaScript

• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin customization

• Familiarity with debugging tools and version control (e.g., Git)

• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility

• Basic understanding of website security and SEO-related development practices
