Java Developer - OpenShift

Job Title: Java Developer (W2 Only)

Location: New Castle, DE (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Duration: 12-24 months

*Min experience - 10 years required

*No C2C - Looking for candidate who can work independently without sponsorship

We’re seeking a Java Developer with 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Apache Camel, and cloud-native development using OpenShift and AWS. You'll be responsible for designing and developing APIs/Services, leading solution design across global teams, and ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop APIs/services using Spring Boot, Apache Camel, AWS, OpenShift, and API Gateway (e.g., Apigee)

Drive solution architecture and lead design sessions across regions

Ensure robust integration, scalability, and availability of systems

Develop POCs and reusable development templates

Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps automation

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in software development

Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Camel, OpenShift, AWS, Kubernetes

Familiar with API formats (JSON, XML, YAML), XSD/XSLT/XPATH

Exposure to messaging systems like Kafka, JMS, IBM MQ

Financial domain experience is a plus
