Patent Agent

We are working with a growing clinical-stage pharma company dedicated to developing novel therapeutics which aim to treat a wide array of diseases. This SD-based company offers a unique opportunity to join an expanding organization and work alongside a passionate team with a noble mission.

Our client is looking to add on a Patent Agent to their growing legal team. This role will report to the patent attorney, and Head of Legal, and help oversee the company's growing patent portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with patent prep & prosecution.

Perform prior art searches and analysis.

Evaluate invention disclosures, work well within a small legal department.

Qualifications:

Registered with the USPTO, PhD in Ochem, Chem, BioChem, or related field.

Ability to be on-site in Sorrento Valley.

5+ years of combined in-house/law firm experience representing life science or tech companies.
