Job Title: CAD Technician

Location: Bergenfield, NJ

Salary: $75K + Benefits

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician with proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drafting to join our team. You will play a crucial role in producing high-quality shop drawings and supporting our commercial projects in sectors such as education, government, and high-rise construction.

While experience in roofing and waterproofing is preferred, we are happy to provide training for the right candidate who brings strong drafting skills and a solid understanding of general construction practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce accurate and detailed shop drawings for commercial roofing and waterproofing projects.

Work from architectural and structural plans to create construction-ready documents.

Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Update and revise drawings based on feedback and site conditions.

Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.

Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards.

Requirements:

Proficient in AutoCAD with strong drafting skills.

Solid understanding of general construction practices.

Ability to interpret architectural and structural plans.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred:

Experience in roofing and waterproofing drafting.

Background in commercial projects such as schools, government buildings, or high-rise developments.
