Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Finance Architect to support a full-cycle Oracle Fusion Finance implementation. This role requires deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Finance modules, revenue recognition (RMCS), and end-to-end OTC flows, along with strong collaboration skills to guide users through UAT, go-live, and post-go-live phases. Local candidates are preferred due to onsite and early/late-hour support requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the lead functional expert for Oracle Cloud Finance modules, including:
RMCS (Revenue Management Cloud Service) – critical and unique to this implementation
OTC (Order-to-Cash) process – from Salesforce through shipping, revenue recognition, invoicing, and collection
Core Financials: AP, AR, GL, and Cash Management
Inventory Accounting – integration of inventory processes with finance
Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting – including asset creation from POs
Budget Management – handling controls, commitments, accruals, and multiple budget types (absolute, advisory, track, none)
Work closely with users to conduct UAT, triage issues, open and track support tickets, and perform re-testing as needed.
Prepare test data, support integration testing, and validate role-based access and permission configurations.
Participate in go-live readiness, deployment, and hypercare support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Procurement and PTP (Procure-to-Pay) for integration on 2-way/3-way matching and accrual setups.
Support and configure integrations with external systems, including Avalara (tax) and APRO (if applicable).
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in Oracle Financials, with at least 3+ full-cycle Oracle Cloud/Fusion Finance implementations.
Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud Finance suite and a deep understanding of accounting principles and journal entries.
Hands-on experience with RMCS, OTC flows, budgeting frameworks, and inventory-finance integration.
Solid experience in revenue recognition, procurement integration, and fixed asset management.
Familiarity with Avalara tax interface; APRO interface experience is a plus.
Experience configuring user roles and permissions in Oracle Cloud.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to support non-standard working hours during testing/training phases.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Cloud certification(s) in Finance modules
Previous experience supporting enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud rollouts
Hands-on involvement in audit/compliance scenarios involving revenue, assets, and tax automation
