Responsibilities:

Lead the Quality Control department to ensure full functionality, providing leadership through performance planning, ongoing feedback, and recognition activities.

Establish, communicate, and measure performance against departmental objectives.

Develop, implement, and disseminate policies and procedures to maintain high standards.

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, implementing new methods or processes to enhance the quality assurance system, quality management system, and compliance with certifications (e.g., ISO, CCC).

Monitor and track quality and product performance, analyzing market, customer, and in-house results.

Evaluate and address budgetary concerns to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Oversee customer complaints, ensuring timely problem-solving and cost-effective resolutions.

Review and report on supplier performance, identifying reasons for improvement or decline in ratings.

Communicate regularly with top management to ensure low customer complaints and supplier quality at competitive prices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).

8+ years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.

2+ years of supervisory experience.

Demonstrated knowledge of quality control techniques and processes (e.g., ASQC).

Competent user of Microsoft Office products.

Strong analytical skills and demonstrated oral and written communication abilities.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
