Application Developer

The purpose of this team is to focus on incident management, reporting, and automation work, particularly with a security focus.

This role will contribute to being a developer with an operational focus to include security incident response and site reliability.

The role will consist of 30% meetings (with customer, other teams, etc.), 70% head down focus time.

The role combines development with an operational mindset, so it's ideal for those interested in both coding and ensuring the reliability and security of systems.

The team is responsible for security incident response for all of CELA, making the work highly impactful.

The team supports various groups, including philanthropies, accessibility, and gaming, ensuring their products are secure and operational, which contributes to our positive impact.

Candidate Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: 10+overall years of experience in the field.

• Degrees or certifications required: Bachelors and more is preferred or 10+ years of relevant work experience

• Disqualifiers: Candidates with only Linux experience and no Windows experience will not be eligible for the role due to the significant conceptual differences between Linux and Windows. Candidates who lack experience in PowerShell and C# will not be considered for the role.

• Performance Indicators: Performance will be assessed based on meeting deadlines, work tracking (via Azure DevOps, and project milestones.

Top 3 Hard Skills Required + Years of Experience

1. Minimum 10+ years experience with PowerShell.

2. Minimum 10+years experience with C#.

3. Minimum 10+years experience with Data Handling - experience with SQL or other open-source databases.
