Hardware Engineer

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to join one of the top networking companies in Silicon Valley. As a Hardware Engineer you will be working in the testing lab specifically testing the CFT or SLT board. On a day to day basis you will work with the test engineers who test the ASIC chip on the board. If or when the board fails it will be given to the Hardware engineer to do test and debug on the board. You will test for a variety of issues including but not limited to damaged components, contamination, fitting issues, timing, socket issues, heat exc. You will use a variety of lab tools to perform the troubleshooting and debug. A strong candidate will have experience working with an ASIC chip on a CFT or SLT board.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-5-8 years of hardware test and debug -experience using a oscilloscope, DMM/DVM -experience with Allegro viewer -experience with thermal imaging
