The Lead Architect will play a central role in developing a new domain-specific language (DSL) and its supporting compiler and runtime infrastructure, designed to transform how AI workloads are expressed, optimized, and executed. This role involves shaping the foundation of a next-generation AI software stack, driving language design, compiler architecture, and runtime efficiency in close collaboration with a world-class team focused on advancing AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and design a new DSL to accelerate and optimize AI workloads across training and inference pipelines
Lead the development of compiler and runtime systems for the DSL, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless integration with AI hardware/software stacks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI researchers, hardware architects, systems engineers, and product managers, to align language and runtime capabilities
Develop a Python-based programming model
Qualifications
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
10+ years of experience in compiler design and implementation, including significant experience with domain-specific languages
Proven expertise in language design and runtime systems, ideally for high-performance computing, machine learning
Strong hands-on experience with compiler infrastructure (e.g., LLVM, MLIR, TVM, Halide, XLA, Glow)
Experience building or contributing to Python-based DSLs
