A leading investment firm with a vertically integrated platform is seeking a dynamic professional to lead private wealth capital raising efforts. The firm specializes in alternative investments and has a strong track record across real estate, private equity, and other asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead a comprehensive private wealth fundraising strategy across RIAs, IBDs, family offices, and UHNW investors.
Source and manage a robust pipeline of new investor relationships through outreach and strategic partnerships.
Tailor investment messaging to wealth advisors, leveraging data, market trends, and asset class insights.
Align product offerings with investor preferences in collaboration with investment, capital markets, and marketing teams.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and gatekeepers across wealth channels.
Represent the firm at industry events, summits, and conferences to raise brand visibility.
Serve as a client-facing expert, ensuring high-quality engagement and communication with investors.
Partner with legal, compliance, and operations to maintain full regulatory compliance in fundraising efforts.
Manage onboarding processes and platform integrations across third-party distribution networks.
Collaborate on the creation of channel-specific marketing and investor education materials.
Provide market intelligence on trends, capital flows, and competitor positioning.
Advise senior leadership on investor sentiment and support product design initiatives.
Help build and scale the firm’s internal wealth capital infrastructure, including potential team growth.
Experience
7–10+ years in external capital raising or fundraising roles, with a focus on RIAs, broker-dealers, and family offices.
Strong record of developing and managing investor relationships across the wealth management ecosystem.
Prior experience in real estate, private equity, or alternative investments is highly preferred.
Education & Licensing
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are a plus.
FINRA SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 required; Series 65 and/or 24 preferred.
Skills & Competencies
Deep understanding of capital markets, wealth management structures, and investor psychology.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy, and strong organizational and project management skills.
