Product Engineer I

Product Engineer – 2-Year Contract

Pay: $40.00–$45.65/hr DOE Benefits: Medical, Dental, PTO, Holidays, 401(k)

Ideal Candidate:

Recent Master’s or PhD graduate in Biomedical Engineering (high GPA), with experience in medical device product development.

Key Responsibilities:

Support R&D projects, including prototype builds and component qualification

Maintain accurate BOMs and product costs

Support product transfers and supplier qualifications

Troubleshoot quality issues and manage corrective actions

Identify cost and material improvements

Collaborate cross-functionally and manage documentation (labeling, protocols, reports)

Qualifications:

Master’s/PhD in Biomedical Engineering (preferred schools: A&M, Rice, UH, UT Austin)

Up to 1 year of relevant experience in medical devices (R&D, manufacturing, or quality)

Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Proficient in MS Office and root cause analysis
