Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job type: Full-time, non-exempt.
This role requires the ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Location: Chatsworth, CA - not remote
In-office job role: 100% on-site
Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour

Electrical Assembler We are seeking an Electrical Assembler responsible for assembling and testing electrical components and systems according to specifications and standards. Some of the duties are as follows.
Responsibilities:
• Tin wires and component leads using solder pot
• Solder under microscope
• Use thermal wire strippers
• Crimp electrical connectors using Mil-Std. crimping tools
• Fabricate and install wire harnesses
• Light mechanical assembly
• Install and torque screws and nuts
• Bonding and staking
• Lacing and spot-tying wire harnesses
• Installing switches, jacks, meters, relays, and wire into the chassis
• Use various chemicals such as Alcohol, Epoxies, RTV Silicones and Conformal coating.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as requested
Requirements & Other Skills/Abilities:
• Must be able to solder components and wires to PWB under a microscope.
• Light mechanical assembly, (i.e., install switches, indicators, meters, etc.).
• Must be able to understand and work from drawings and schematics.
• Must read and speak English fluently.
• Must have acute vision (i.e., near vision, depth perception, color vision, field vision).
• Must be able to pass soldering demonstration and written tests and vision test.
• Must have thorough knowledge of basic hand tools; solder irons, wire strippers, and crimping tools.
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
• Must have a minimum of three years experience in circuit board soldering and wire harnessing assembly.
• Current solder certification in either MIL-STD-2000, J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 or NASA-STD-8739.3 is preferred.
