This is a recently created team to support both the existing treaty operation and the newly created MGA function that was recently announced by PartnerRe. This specific role is to monitor all financial transactions of contracts, ensuring that clients are remitting appropriately to PartnerRe. The position reports to the Chief Underwriting Officer, P&C Americas.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for auditing transactions in relation to specific agreed contracts.
Ensure risks are ceded to PRe according to contract wording
Verify PRe has been paid for all policies, including any necessary premium from adjustable policies
Coordinate with claims department to certify our claims billings are warranted and accurate
Develop plan for auditing client base and report periodically to senior management on findings
Build and maintain relationships with client and brokers
Collaborate with peers on complex or contentious reinsurance developments.Qualifications
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting experience
Experience in auditing Reinsurance transactions
Advanced MS-Excel knowledge
Detail oriented
Excellent writing, communication and customer service skills
Action-oriented and self-motivated
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a deadline-oriented environment
Ability to work at all levels of an organization and experience presenting to upper management
Process improvement mindset
