Our client is one of the largest manufacturers of shell and tube heat exchangers in the United States. Operating out of state-of-the-art facilities, providing fully integrated turnaround, specialty maintenance, and heat exchanger fabrication from a single point of responsibility.

Key Requirements:

Experience in the refinery industry with mechanical and piping background and/or a four-year undergraduate degree in Engineering.

Estimating background with a verifiable record of success.

Possess strong technical knowledge in a variety of fields, such as nondestructive examination, welding, machining, general fabrication, shell and tube heat exchangers, vessels, and towers

Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Projects.

Ability to articulate estimating work practices to all levels of the organization.

Analyze documentation submitted by customers and prepare punctual, detailed commercial and technical bids in a fast paced and competitive market.

Prepare detailed labor, material, and subcontract estimates based on customer requirements

Review customer requirements with engineering, manufacturing, and upper management to discuss strategies

Submit final approved bid to customer and answer any requests for clarification

Follow-up on all bids submitted to customers

Process orders in a timely manner
