Manage of FP&A (M&A), Hybrid

We are looking to fill a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) for a dynamic private equity-backed company in the Dallas area. This role is central to driving financial strategy, with a strong emphasis on supporting M&A initiatives, in addition to optimizing job cost performance and enhancing backlog visibility. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A. A background in mergers and acquisitions, including financial modeling and due diligence, is highly valued. This role will be focused on all M&A activities and will work closety with the VP of Finance and stakeholders.

This position is Hybrid and In office ONLY 1 day/week. It pays 160K-170K+Bonus.

Responsibilities:

Lead financial modeling and analysis to support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and valuation.

Co-lead the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes with a focus on capital allocation and investment evaluation.

Interpret monthly financial data, identify trends, and provide leadership with actionable insights and variance explanations.

Improve ERP and reporting systems to enhance data quality and support strategic decision-making.

Develop and track key performance indicators to support productivity, cost efficiency, and financial oversight.

Provide financial input on PE-driven initiatives and help drive value creation strategies across business units.

Mentor junior staff and promote analytical rigor and financial discipline across the organization.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.

Minimum 5-7 years of FP&A experience, ideally in a PE-backed company or transaction services.

Demonstrated experience supporting M&A activity through financial analysis and modeling.

Proficient in Excel with experience using construction-focused ERP systems.

SQL report writing experience is a strong plus.

Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
