Job Summary
The Global Vendor Master Project/Reporting Analyst will be responsible for participating in data migration efforts to develop globally harmonized data standards and improve business processes. They will define security and data validation rules to ensure best practice master data management. They will collaborate closely with cross functional teams to build out organizational capability in SAP and other systems. The Global Vendor Master Project/Reporting Analyst will report to the Global Vendor Master Manager.
Major Responsibilities
Participate in cross functional projects related to mergers and acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, and transformation projects on behalf of Applied Materials’ Global Shared Services, Global Finance Services and Vendor Master organizations.
Represent Global Finance in various projects involving vendor master setup and data validation.
Work directly with the GFP project team, GIS, and various other groups at Applied Materials on system integrations involving migration of vendor master data.
Provide guidance for business processes and systemic requirements for data conversion.
Partner with Global VM team to develop and execute on process improvements including SAP/MDG upgrades and enhancements.
Provide support/collaboration with IBM delivery teams. Lead special projects, execute project requirements, and coordinate sign-off by appropriate business partners.
Create and develop test scenarios and test scripts related to vendor master processes and projects.
Perform UATs in required databases as needed.
Ensure SOX compliance including document retention.
Provide ad hoc support for Regional Process Owners as needed and when critical process issues arise.
Develop and maintain global vendor master metrics by region.
Perform quarterly vendor reauthentication, active vendor list and supplier spend analyses utilizing existing Tableau Dashboards
Create ad hoc analyses supporting vendor master and accounts payable projects.
Develop and maintain Tableau vendor dashboard.
Provide constant updates and open communication with Global VM Manager

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance, accounting, internal audit, data analyst or related advisory role
Proficient in using MS Excel for reporting and data analysis.
Experienced in using MS Office products.
Experienced in using SAP ECC ERP system
Tableau skills preferred.
Experience in tax reporting (1099 and 1042/1042S)
Project management experience
Vendor Master maintenance experience preferred
