Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
Quotes price and delivery on list and discount items
Essential role in made to order (MTO) quotations to provide accurate and timely replies to customers
Provides technical information to customers through product knowledge or in concert with designated design/application engineer(s)
Process orders through production to ensure timely completion
Alerts customers of order delays when required
Determines actions to solve customer issues including RGA's, breakdowns, expedites, etc
Understands requirements and follows ISO procedure
Contributes to the continuous improvement process
Supports and follows all safety policies and procedures
Builds working relationships with internal and external customers
Understands, responds and supports fostering good customer/supplier relations
Exhibits a sense of urgency to get the job completed
Supports complex customers' needs/requests
Exhibits required in-depth job knowledge and skills
Able to solve problems and determine a course of action
Troubleshoots and anticipates problems
Has the ability to influence others in the work group
Exhibits self-discipline with ability to manage the job
Can prioritize work and coordinate with others
Fosters a team environmentRequirements:
Minimum requirement – High School Diploma or equivalent experience
2 to 3-years customer service/sales related experience
Proficient computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good mathematical skills; able to reason and calculate equations
Ability to input to and retrieve from computer based software programs
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Ability to spell, type, and read at an average speed
Must be accurate and exhibit diplomacy and tact in dealing with others
