The Controller will be responsible for the overall day-to-day Accounting / Financial management/

We are seeking a hands-on, well-qualified and highly motivated individual to oversee our Accounting department. This position requires strong technical accounting background and a strong foundation in best practices and staff development.

Essential Duties, Functions & Responsibilities

Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

Prepares periodic interim financial statements and presentations to Board Committees and the Board of Directors

Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.

Exercises confidentiality in the execution of day-to-day operations.

Collaborate and Supervise existing Accounting staff

Assists with GL, FS, Cash Flow monitoring/integrity, work with grants and monitor project budgets with project leaders, and ensure that projects are managed in compliance with funding guidelines

Works closely with management to update, manage, and develop new ideas, processes, policies and practices for more efficient and smoother operations

Ideal Experience:

Several years of Accounting experience at a Controller or similar level

Non-Profit, Grant of Fund experience is a Plus

Bachelor's Degree
