Key Responsibilities of the Treasury Accountant:
Perform complex accounts payable processing, including payments for benefits, garnishments, and taxes.
Reconcile bank accounts and key balance sheet accounts across three operating entities.
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including support for financial audits.
Prepare and file compliance reports for worker's compensation, sales tax, property tax, and assist with annual audits.
Generate and upload ACH (NACHA) files, wire drawdowns, and positive pay files using multiple platforms and bank portals.
Process high-volume banking transactions, supporting up to 100 payrolls daily.
Liaise with Payroll and Client Relations teams to troubleshoot and prioritize payroll funding issues via email, messaging, and phone.
Qualifications of the Treasury Accountant:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field highly preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting operations, with a focus on accounts payable and treasury functions.
Strong knowledge of ACH and NACHA file processing and technical proficiency with banking systems.
