Senior Mechanical Project Manager

GEE Group is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead major mechanical construction projects from planning through closeout. The ideal candidate brings a proven ability to manage complex projects with confidence, drive operational excellence, and deliver strong financial performance-while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Manage mechanical projects from start to finish, ensuring profitability, safety, and schedule adherence

Accurately forecast, monitor, and report on project financials to meet or exceed gross margin goals

Lead a team-focused safety program and contribute to a culture of "best in class" safety performance

Collaborate with VDC and fabrication teams to leverage lean construction and maximize efficiency

Oversee procurement of major equipment, subcontracts, and long-lead items to ensure timely and cost-effective execution

Align staffing with project requirements and budgeted overhead, in coordination with leadership

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and trade partners

Support company goals by representing the organization professionally within the industry and community

Qualifications

Demonstrated success managing individual projects exceeding $5MM and portfolios over $15MM

Experience with union labor management and improving field productivity

Strong financial acumen, organizational discipline, and leadership presence

High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client satisfaction
