About the Opportunity

Our Client is a leading global manufacturer of coaxial interconnect products for radio frequency, microwave, and data transmission applications. They have proven to be a leader in next-generation technology! With consistent year-over-year growth, cutting-edge technology, and a team that breeds success, they are looking for high-performing Accounting talent to join their team!

This is a newly created position due to growth! The Controller will provide overall administrative, reporting, and planning structure to the Finance team. This role is responsible for managing the consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, variance, and trend analysis processes for the organization, with detailed emphasis by group and department.

Location: Hybrid, Danbury

Salary: 135K-150K

Primary Responsibilities

Review and ensure the integrity of financial statements.

Report actuals and forecasts, coordinating adjustments as needed.

Compile and distribute financial reports to corporate leadership and management teams.

Calculate incentive compensation metrics.

Ensure compliance with financial reporting and internal controls.

Prepare monthly operations meeting materials.

Coordinate and prepare strategic plans, budgets, and standard cost analyses.

Maintain compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and COSO standards.

Ensure adherence to lease reporting and revenue recognition standards.

Monitor, analyze, and report on inventory valuation, production, and other costs.

Conduct analysis of excess and obsolete inventory, providing recommendations for alternative use or disposal.

Prepare various reports for tax departments and other tax authorities.

Audit calculations related to sustainability initiatives.

Participate in key organizational projects to drive process improvements and cost reductions.

Collaborate with manufacturing technology leadership to evaluate capital expenditures and payback.

Review and analyze financial reports from all divisions, identifying areas for potential cost reductions and tracking progress.

Oversee division hard close checklists.

Travel to Mexico and other locations as needed.

Education and Experience Our Client is Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

Candidate's must show good career progression and tenure.

Must have experience working for mid to large sized organization.

10+ years of related experience, including work in a manufacturing environment.
