Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Controller to join our manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the helm of our financial operations and guide our company to further success. The Plant Controller will be responsible for all financial aspects of our manufacturing operations, including cost accounting, financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, and financial modeling. This role will play a critical part in our strategic decision-making processes, providing insights and recommendations that will drive profitability and growth.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all plant accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

2. Develop, implement, and maintain effective cost accounting systems and procedures to accurately reflect the financial position of the plant.

3. Conduct regular financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend correlation, cost analysis, and others to identify opportunities and risks.

4. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on the analysis of key financial data.

5. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with various departments to ensure the accuracy of financial projections.

6. Develop and implement robust financial models to support strategic decision-making.

7. Work closely with the manufacturing team to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.

8. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

9. Participate in the development and execution of business planning activities.

10. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

3. Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, business planning, and financial modeling.

4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.

5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.

7. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.

8. High level of proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
