Salary: $110,000 - $125,000 per year

A bit about us:

A Baton Rouge based equipment manufacturer and wholesaler seeks a self-motivated controller to support the financial objectives for this operation. The controller will report directly to the owner and will record and oversee all accounting operations.

Job Details

Responsibilities will include, but isn't limited to:

Accounts payable and vendor payments

Accounts receivable and billing

Payroll

Cash reconciliations and forecasts

Budgeting

Balance sheet reconciliations

Monthly Financial reporting and reviews

Organize information and statements for annual and monthly tax returns.

Controller Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred

5-10+ years of experience in the field

Previous experience as an accounting supervisor or manager

Attention to detail

Ability to develop and implement improvements and recommendations

Ability to lead financial statement review meetings

Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards and regulations

Excellent computer skills and experience in various accounting software
