Job Details

Responsibilities:

Analyze and report on cost variances between actual and standard costs

Conduct monthly and quarterly financial statement variance analysis

Work closely with plant management to develop and maintain standard cost systems

Ensure accurate and timely inventory accounting and reconciliation

Develop and maintain product cost estimates

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives

Provide guidance and support to junior cost accountants

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

2+ years of experience in cost accounting

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience with financial statement variance analysis

Knowledge of plant accounting and inventory accounting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems

CPA or CMA certification preferred
