Job Details
As a proprietary trader, you will be responsible for:
Being an excellent steward of risk and capable of providing liquidity in any market condition
Making data-driven decisions and confidently standing by your actions
Proactively and effectively communicating any deviation from expected value
Quickly and accurately prioritizing efforts that drive 80% of the outcome and avoiding efforts that only solve 20% of the outcome
Learning and executing trading methodologies and gradually increasing responsibilities from shadowing to parameter tuning to placing trades
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates who possess the following qualifications:
2-5 years of experience as an experienced trader with a proven track record of success
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related field
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Excellent quantitative skills
Track record of proactively solving difficult problems
Ability to take on many responsibilities quickly with a high degree of operational excellence
