Job Details

Design and develop rubber compression and injection molds using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo)

Analyze sketches, specifications, and material properties to ensure precision engineering

Conduct design reviews and collaborate with manufacturing, tooling, and production teams

Implement innovative solutions, including 3D-printed tooling and advanced manufacturing techniques

Optimize mold designs to improve performance, efficiency, and longevity

Ensure compliance with quality control standards and tolerance stack-up requirements

Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging manufacturing technologies

Qualifications:

Education: Degree or certification in CAD design, mechanical engineering, or related field

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mold design for rubber or plastic injection molding

Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo)

Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly in rubber, plastics, or precision tooling

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and design optimization techniques

Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
