We are seeking a passionate and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing complex electrical systems and products. You will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs, schematics, and blueprints using AutoCAD Electrical. This role is not for the faint-hearted, it requires a proactive engineer who can handle the pressures of meeting deadlines without compromising on the quality of work. Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop complex electrical systems and products, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
2. Create and interpret detailed electrical designs, schematics, and blueprints using AutoCAD Electrical.
3. Conduct feasibility studies, system modeling, and simulations to test system designs.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure design specifications are met.
5. Analyze and resolve design and production issues, providing technical advice and support as necessary.
6. Conduct detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
7. Evaluate operational systems, recommending design modifications to eliminate malfunctions or improve performance.
8. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrical engineering, applying new knowledge to future design and development projects.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design engineering.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, with a solid understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and detailed drawings.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes and systems.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
8. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
9. Familiarity with electrical engineering software and a solid understanding of the latest technology trends in the industry.
