Job Description

Required Skills for the UI/UX Developer:

- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Markdown for web-based documentation.

- Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaboration purposes.

- Strong capabilities in SharePoint site design and PowerPoint presentation development.

- Knowledge of responsive design principles and accessibility standards.

- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach.

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

- 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.

- Experience working with technical or data-focused teams is advantageous.

- Familiarity with documentation generators like MkDocs or Docusaurus is a plus.

- Basic understanding of JavaScript or front-end frameworks is beneficial.

UI/UX Developer Overview:

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Developer to play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining the visual and functional aspects of our markdown and CSS-based documentation site. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure consistency, usability, and a professional appearance across internal platforms like SharePoint and PowerPoint presentations.

Responsibilities:

- Design & Maintenance: Enhance the visual appeal and functionality of our markdown/CSS-based documentation site for an intuitive user experience.

- Content Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to create and integrate new content effectively.

- Cross-Platform Design: Develop visually appealing SharePoint sites and PowerPoint decks that align with branding goals.

- Version Control: Utilize GitHub for basic version control tasks such as cloning, committing, and pushing updates.

- User Experience Advocacy: Advocate for best practices in UI/UX design, accessibility, and responsive design.

- Feedback Integration: Gather feedback from team members to enhance usability and aesthetics of documentation tools.
