Process Engineer

DUTIES:

Leading continuous improvement & innovation efforts in optimizing manufacturing control systems across the business.

Routinely calculating financial operational metric impacts of process alternatives and presents recommendations to management.

Leading continuous improvement projects to improve productivity, quality, safety, process capability, and unit cost.

Recommend equipment improvements by providing specifications and/or requirements and controlling these recommendations through to completion.

Determine and improve process capabilities by using statistical techniques to meet or exceed customer needs.

Support commissioning of new equipment / processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering with experience in manufacturing, quality and process optimization.

Strong understanding of statistical process control, statistics, and customer integration.

Formal training in continuous improvement methodologies.

Strong customer and quality focus.

Capable of interfacing with cross-functional departments toward a common goal.

Strong hands-on commitment.

Ability to work in a team environment.

Strong team culture skills.
