We are a well established engineering firm seeking an experienced Design Engineer II to help transform our product requirements and customer needs into manufacturable, cost effective designs. Working under moderate supervision, you will own sub assemblies or small projects from concept through release, performing 3 D modeling, analysis, detailing, and cross functional collaboration to ensure product performance, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Job Details
3-5+ years' experience minimum
Proficient in 3 D CAD, finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling
Comfortable with database, internet, spreadsheet and word processing applications
Hands on experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault
1 + years designing gate or butterfly valves
Familiarity with internal combustion engine performance requirements
Solid grasp of applied thermodynamics
Design of pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic valve actuation systems
Working knowledge of DFMEA and PPAP methodologies
