Job Details:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) Architect to join our dynamic Tech Services team. This permanent position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects, engaging with various departments across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation, and management of our enterprise data warehouse and data integration strategy. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT teams to ensure that the data architecture supports and enhances information delivery and data insights for the organization.

Responsibilities:

Define, design, and build the data architecture for the enterprise data warehouse system.

Develop and maintain complex ETL processes to support business requirements.

Collaborate with various teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Implement data governance and data security strategies.

Analyze and resolve database system production problems.

Provide technical leadership in the evaluation, conceptualization, design, and development of major new capabilities in the data warehouse.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics and allocate database resources to achieve optimum database performance.

Ensure the data warehouse architecture is maintained in a scalable, robust, and reliable manner.

Stay abreast of the latest developments in data warehousing technology and provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Proven experience in Oracle database design and management.

Demonstrated experience in data warehouse architecture and data modeling best practices.

Proficient in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process development and optimization.

Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and data quality management.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

Relevant professional certifications are desirable.

Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
