Operator 1, Molding Compensation
The pay for this position is $14.50 per hour
Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Operator 1, Molding Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
Required availability for this position is "B" Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 3-2-2-3 schedule (nights)
Eye exam required prior to hire (must meet 20/30 vision, with or without corrective lenses, and pass a color vision exam)
Operator 1, Molding Responsibilities
Pack out and inspect molded components for quality
Operate multi-cavity injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
Conduct minor maintenance on assigned molding presses
Maintain production quality and request technical support when needed
Keep machinery, floors, and work area clean and compliant with GMP standards
Perform detailed product inspections and make quality decisions
Assist with operations coverage during breaks and call-outs
Maintain knowledge of product types, raw materials, and quality specifications
Follow all relevant controlled documents and equipment manuals
Operator 1, Molding Requirements
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment
Must be able to pass a vision exam (20/30 vision with or without correction and color vision test)
Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
Experience operating electric and hydraulic injection molding presses
