Logistics Coordinator Compensation

The pay for this position is $32.00/hr to start.

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Logistics Coordinator Highlights

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

This position is a contract assignment to start and we are looking to make this position a permanent hire.

Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities

Coordinate the transportation of imported products and exports from DNP production sites to DSM affiliates across LATAM, APAC, EU, China, and North America.

Collaborate with customs brokers and logistics partners for smooth product flow to warehouses and customers.

Monitor and evaluate carrier performance using digital tracking platforms; assist in integrating new logistics technologies.

Serve as a liaison between global DSM regions and internal departments (Quality, Shipping, Supply Chain).

Research logistics-related customer complaints and initiate corrective actions.

Handle claims and damages with insurers (e.g., Zurich Insurance) and follow up on refunds.

Support regulatory compliance by providing documentation for audits, customs, FDA, and other authorities.

Ensure timely and accurate processing of broker and carrier invoices.

Promote and ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Report quality deviations and non-conformances and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., DICI program).

Logistics Coordinator Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (required).

Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics in a global/matrix organization (Animal Nutrition industry preferred).

5+ years of hands-on experience with import/export logistics.

Solid understanding of warehousing, transportation, and handling of hazardous materials.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Advanced knowledge of SAP R/3 and Business Warehouse.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
