CNC Laser Operator

Accentuate Staffing is assisting a growing CNC Shop in the Raleigh area who is hiring a CNC Laser Operator to join their team. This is a contract-hire opportunity working 7am-3:45pm Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate will operate CNC laser cutting machines, ensuring precision and quality in the manufacturing of components.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC laser machines according to production specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to produce parts accurately.

Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.

Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC laser equipment.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and specification standards.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

Experience operating CNC laser cutting machines (preferred).

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Strong attention to detail and quality control.

Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

Start up and operate laser programs and laser fixtures

Operate the laser computer PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Unload finished product from laser

Used during laser cutting operation

Adjust laser beam focal point

Change laser printing machine filters

Operate and maintain laser cutters

Deliver high quality laser components to the IH&S laser

Remove empty spools from laser room

Operate automation system for the laser

Maintaining, troubleshooting and adjusting the laser

Used during laser cutting operation

Restock inventory related to laser print production

Operate vision system for laser scale verification

Move material rolls for laser job changes

Perform laser operations that require close tolerances

Set up, maintain and operate laser

Operate a computer controlled laser cutting machine

Unload parts per instruction of a laser operator

Cutting head, and remote laser dress packages
