We are currently seeking a highly skilled Permanent Machinist to join our dynamic team. Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with a deep understanding and hands-on experience in the Manufacturing industry. You will be working with cutting-edge technology to produce high-quality products. Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Machinist, your responsibilities will include:

1. Setting up and operating a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make metal parts, mechanisms, tools, or machines.

2. Operating machines and equipment to perform precision machining operations, such as sawing, turning, milling, boring, drilling, precision grinding, and numerical control (NC) operations.

3. Interpreting blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.

4. Measuring, examining, and testing completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

5. Monitoring the feed and speed of machines during the machining process and adjusting as necessary.

6. Using a wireless probe for precision measurement and quality control.

7. Maintaining and repairing machine tools and equipment for continued operation.

8. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

1. A high school diploma or equivalent, with a vocational or technical school degree in machining or a related field preferred.

2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Machinist in the Manufacturing industry.

3. Proficiency in operating various machinery including but not limited to Mill, Lathe, and 4-axis machines.

4. Extensive knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

5. Proficiency in using a wireless probe for precision measurement and quality control.

6. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce high-quality work with precision and accuracy.

7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and effectively.

8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

9. Physical stamina and strength, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.

10. A commitment to safety, with knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the Manufacturing industry.
