Title: PowerBI Analyst - Hybrid
Location: New Brighton, Minnesota
Duration: 6 Months with potential to extend
Start Time (AM/PM) : 9:00 AM
End Time (AM/PM) : 5:00 PM

Description:
This role supports seamless execution of corporate priorities for the commercial organization with analytics and reporting.
The PowerBI analyst works closely with sales leadership, commercial partners, pricing teams and other functions to develop PowerBI-based sales, pricing and contracting reports.
This position supports the sales organization and collaborates closely with commercial partners (i.e., sales, marketing, pricing, Enterprise Accounts, training, etc.) and as a liaison with various centralized business support functions (i.e. IT, HR, customer service, operations, compliance, etc.).
Develops management reporting and business analytics to guide strategic decisions and streamline execution.
Supports development, launch, and roll-out of new tools, resources and initiatives with the commercial organization (i.e., Power BI, business planning processes, sales process execution, etc.) to drive adoption and buy-in across the commercial organization.
Responsibilities
Timely delivery of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly metric reports to monitor business trends, territory performance and rankings, sales process and pipeline metrics, and key corporate initiatives.
Create reports to provide new insights and assist sales and commercial leadership in managing the business and measuring progress of key initiatives.
Provide analytics to support key initiatives, including product launches, corporate programs, change management initiatives, etc.
This may include segmentation and targeting analysis, compensation analysis, sales tools, tracking reports, business trend analysis, etc.
Ensure data accuracy with proactive identification of problem areas, and by diagnosing and working with cross-functional teams to fix to ensure data integrity and accurate metrics.
1 to 3 years experience using a full life cycle methodology for ETL development utilizing IBM's InfoSphere suite, DataStage, QualityStage, MetaData Workbench and Info Analyzer.
Strong PL/SQL and SQL skills with the ability to develop database views and tune query performance.
Experience designing the ETL metadata layer, ETL/Interface architecture and security to ensure the solutions align with industry and SJM standards.
Experience (Minimum 4 years)
Experience in Sales Operations, Finance or IT function.
MS Excel power user.
Strong experience with Power BI dashboard development.
Demonstrated ability to work in collaboration with multiple functional areas.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills combined with a strong business and technical acumen.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
Detail-oriented and reliable with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Experience supporting a medical device sales organization is preferred
