Job Description for Financial Analyst
This role requires a high level of analytical and communication skills plus an understanding of financial modeling. This is an opportunity for someone who is really looking to have ownership over the budgeting/forecasting process for this mid sized high-growth organization.
Financial Analyst Responsibilities
Manages financial forecasting process
Manages the budgeting and reporting process during the year
Works with functional department heads to identify spending plans and how they relate to the budget and forecasting
Develops and manages the internal forecasting and budgeting models used to run the business
Generates the monthly and quarterly reporting packages along with the quarterly board deck
Assists in implementing new best practices around internal processes
Assess market dynamics and growth opportunities
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor's Degree in either Accounting or Finance
1-3 years analysis experience managing corporate or divisional budgeting/forecasting process
Superior knowledge of Excel and financial statement relationships
Strong business acumen and cross-functional team experience
Exceptional analytical, problem solving, organizational and project management skills
Proven ability to work independently
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to excel and adapt in a fast-paced environment Salary: $75K - $95K
