About the Company and Opportunity:

Our client is an government contractor in Dulles, VA who has been around for 50+ years!

Due to an project, they are looking to bring on a temporary Payroll Specialist!

Duration: 1 month

Pay: $30-33/hr depending on experience.

Schedule is Monday - Friday 9:00a-5:30p.

Overview of the Payroll Specialist role:

Responsible for assisting in the processing, monitoring, and reviewing of the semi-monthly payroll system.

Multi-state payroll.

Review, batch, and process timecards.

Assist in the review of employee change forms.

Update and maintain accurate payroll files and records.

Review and distribute payroll reports as needed.

Upload payroll and accruals to the financial system.

Assist with payroll disbursements including taxes, retirement plans, etc.

Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:

5+ years of payroll specialist experience

ADP experience is a must

Extremely organized, able to multi-task effectively and attentive to detail

Must be detail oriented with the ability to work independently

Fast and accurate data entry required
