Accounting Manager

GEE Group is hiring an experienced Accounting Manager to lead financial operations for a client's key manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity across all accounting functions - while supporting leadership with the insights they need to drive smart, strategic decisions.

What You'll Do:

Oversee general ledger, budgeting, AP, fixed assets, and inventory accounting

Prepare and present financial statements and variance reports to executive leadership

Lead annual audits, including internal control and compliance with US GAAP and other software

Manage month-end and quarter-end closing processes with consistency and accuracy

Support cost analysis, labor strategy, and pricing accuracy across systems

Mentor accounting staff and improve processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Associate's with strong experience considered)

3-5 years in accounting or finance, with team leadership responsibilities

Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control best practices

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills

Familiarity with Great Plains and C-Core a plus
