Job Details

The Academic Dean is responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, and academic integrity of the campus.

This role oversees faculty, curriculum development, student success initiatives, accreditation compliance, and overall academic operations.

Schedule: Full-time, M-F, 8a-5pm

Employment: Permanent Hire

Location: Miramar, FL (in-person)

Requirements:

Master's degree in Academic, Administration, Education (required)

Doctorate degree in Education (preferred)

Eight (8) years leadership experience in education (required)

Four (4) years experience teaching or acting in an administrative role within a post-secondary institution (preferred)

Prior experience an an Academic Dean (preferred)

Responsibilities

Provide curriculum development, academic policies, and faculty development

Ensure academic programs meet accreditation, state, and federal requirements

Implement training programs and workshops of faculty/staff for professional development

Lead the campus student retention efforts and provide support for program directors and faculty with retention activities, strategy, and initiative

Manage budgetary and financial planning for the academic division

Foster relationships with external partners, including businesses, advisory boards, community organizations, and accrediting bodies
