The Director of Finance / CFO will be responsible for the organization's financials, budget process, and year-end close.

Responsibilities:
Lead and support the organization through financial and operational transitions
Oversee the budgeting process, including making modifications to draft budgets with significant public funding components
Produce timely and accurate financial reports for the Board of Directors
Generate detailed variance reports and closely monitor budget vs. actuals
Provide support in preparing financial documentation for RFPs
Deliver accurate and timely cash flow projections
Collaborate with program and department leads to help non-financial staff understand financial data and implications
Ensure financial compliance and reporting align with complex nonprofit regulations
Partner with the Treasurer and Board as needed on financial matters
Preferred Qualifications & Background
Experience with NetSuite or other cloud-based ERP is a plus
Demonstrated knowledge of complex nonprofit budgeting, especially involving public funds
Prior success managing financial operations through organizational transitions
Background in working with unionized environments is a plus
Proven ability to provide financial insights and tools to non-financial stakeholders
Strong cash flow management skills, including forecasting and scenario planning
High capacity, quick execution, and creative problem-solving abilities under pressure
