Overview of the Human Resources Generalist role:
• Coordinate and lead onboarding sessions for new hires, including I-9 and tax form processing in ADP, collecting signed paperwork, delivering company orientation, and setting training schedules with department managers.
• Manage updates and changes in ADP, including pay rate adjustments, employment status changes, and benefits administration; assist employees who prefer paper-based processes.
• Handle incoming HR mail and provide general administrative support for the HR department.
• Coordinate interviews and attend internal meetings as needed; support credentialing documentation with external partners.
• Respond to employee requests related to documentation, such as FMLA or unemployment claims.
• Assist with preparing and distributing offer letters, particularly for hourly employees.
Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist role:
• Experience with ADP or a comparable HRIS system.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience in HR onboarding or generalist responsibilities preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.
Salary: $50,000 to $58,000 depending on experience
