Job Title: QC Laboratory Technician
Department: Operations
Reports to: Quality Control Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non Exempt
Overview:
The Laboratory Technician ensures products and services meet quality standards by conducting inspections, tests, and measurements throughout the production process, documenting findings, and reporting non-conformances.
Primary Responsibilities
Inspecting and Testing:
Laboratory technicians inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Data Collection and Documentation:
They collect data, perform measurements, and document findings, including non-conforming results.
Equipment Calibration and Maintenance:
Laboratory technicians calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Reporting:
They report findings, including non-conforming results, to supervisors and other relevant personnel.
Process Improvement:
Assist with identifying areas for process improvement and recommend corrective actions.
Adherence to Standards:
Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and safety guidelines.
Workplace Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence employees at all levels.
· Computer & Software Skills
· Proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word (intermediate), Excel (intermediate)
· Attention to Detail
· Ability to prioritize, organize and maintain accurate records
· Education
· High School, or Technical degree
· Experience
· 1 – 3 years’ QC Laboratory experience in an Industrial Environment
· Environmental
· Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours or more per day.
· Ability to lift packages of up to 15 lbs.
· Ability to help other areas when needed.
