**Job Title: Forklift Operator**

**Job Description**

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials while adhering to the company's Good Manufacturing Practices.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials.

+ Load trucks and secure products in accordance with customer requirements.

+ Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting devices.

+ Monitor material usage on the work floor and supply production lines with raw materials.

+ Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules.

+ Keep production lines supplied with raw materials.

+ Inventory products as needed and label, sort, wrap, and tie products.

+ Unload and stack materials by raising and lowering the lifting device.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficient forklift skills.

+ Experience in material handling, picking, and loading.

+ Ability to use RF scanners.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience stacking pallets on top of each other rather than using racks.

**Work Environment**

Work in a non-climate controlled environment. The role involves hands-on tasks and requires adaptability to varying conditions within the facility.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.75/hr.
