LABOR AND DELIVERY NURSE PRACTITIONER

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor & Delivery Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic team in Ohio. In this crucial role, you will provide high-quality care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery, ensuring a safe and positive childbirth experience for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of pregnant patients, including histories, physical examinations, and fetal monitoring.

Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in labor, coordinating with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals.

Manage labor progression and assist with delivery, including performing procedures as needed (e.g., episiotomies, suturing).

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor, identifying and responding to complications promptly.

Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and improve clinical practices.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and institutional standards.

Qualifications:

Active NP license in the state of Ohio

1 to 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience (preferred)

Active DEA
