Responsibilities
Millennium Corporation is hiring a Cybersecurity Curriculum & Lab Developer to work a hybrid schedule in Huntsville, AL.
The Cyber Security Curriculum & Lab Developer will provide foundational support to k>fivefour’s training program and manage content and lab environments for a wide array of cybersecurity related courses.
Additional duties include:
Building and maintaining virtualized cyber lab environments using Windows or Linux systems.
Configuring VMs aligned to scenario-based cybersecurity training — think pen-testing labs, red/blue team simulations, and real-world attack emulations.
Translating complex cybersecurity concepts into engaging, technically accurate training content and scenarios.
Writing and editing course materials that conform to corporate templates and technical style guides.
Uploading and managing content in the LMS (currently Thinkific).
Providing frontline technical support to instructors and students during live training sessions.
Collaborating with corporate IT to troubleshoot system and network issues related to training platforms.
Preparing physical or virtual classrooms and materials before and after sessions.
Working cross-functionally with a team of three other content specialists and internal stakeholders to innovate and improve training delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred). 2 YOE additional experience in lieu of a degree.
5 years’ experience with applicable experience: infrastructure management, cybersecurity training, etc.
Candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration and a solid understanding of penetration testing, ethical hacking, or cyber defense concepts.
Experienced with technical writing, content development, and using HTML/CSS.
Familiar with virtual labs, VMs, or cyber range environments.
Adept at problem-solving and supporting both instructors and learners in a fast-paced training environment.
Experience with Thinkific or similar LMS platforms and have experience configuring labs in tools like AWS, Azure, VMware, or VirtualBox.
Business Development
Assist with Business Development activities as required to support Millennium's strategic business objectives, which may include but not limited to participation in technical interviews, creation of technical documentation, general proposal writing support and proposal color reviews.
Physical Requirements
Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at a time.
