This individual will be the internal and external champion for the credit union's sales and service culture and will lead the continued enhancement of service delivery and operational process improvements related to branch operations.
The Branch & Community Engagement Manager will manage organizational goals and service expectations for both retail and business banking needs and ensure each branch is compliant with all regulations and policies.
Collaborates with senior management in the development of strategic plans to achieve the Credit Union's overall objectives.rnA Typical DayrnrnGenerate new business within branch market for deposit accounts, loans, and cash management.rnDevelop and implement strategies to drive business growth and achieve branch targets.rnDevelop and maintain banking relationships with potential and existing members.rnMonitor branch expenses to ensure budget adherence.rnFocus on team and self-development, leadership and management through training and ongoing communications.
rnManage the overall branch member experience focusing on new member growth and retention.rnResponsible for branch and staff performancernMentor and train team members on how to build relationships with members, educating them on products and services they could benefit fromrnRemains cognizant of and adheres to Credit Union 1 policies and procedures, industry and banking norms.rnPromote positive working relationships while working with other departments to provide service that exceeds member expectations and consistency in processes for the membership and staff.rnPerform other duties and assist other employees as needed or as assigned.rnPromote CU1's core values of Be Great, Be Engaged, Be Open, Be Nice.
rnCOMMUNITY ENGAGEMENTrnrnAttend community and specific industry forums, conferences, and meetings in order to broaden relationship networks, referral sources, and continually deepen knowledge of trends, best practices, services, and the competitive landscape.rnBuild and maintain relationships with business leaders, community groups, non-profits, and organizations: Has an understanding of the issues they face or that exist in the marketplace.rnInvolvement in local community through clubs, luncheons, business organizations, chamber of commerce, etc.rnEducate our members, community partners, and students of all ages to achieve financial wellbeing.rnUp to 50% of time will be spent out of office prospecting for new business accounts & engaging in the community.rnrnrnrnWhat We Look ForrnrnBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or related field of study preferred.
Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and/or training.rnMinimum 2 years' related, demonstrated experience creating business development programs, policies, and standards to ensure the ability to exceed member expectations and help members reach their full economic potential.
