IronRoad is conducting a confidential search for a Quality Mag Particle CERTIFIED NDT Level II Inspector for our Fairfield, Ohio client. We are looking for a talented, confident, experienced Quality Mag Particle CERTIFIED NDT Level II Inspector who is energetic and ready to share their QA skill & experience, grow within the organization and always ready to step in and help. Position Description:
Mag Particle CERTIFIED NDT Level II professional who will also serve as a Quality Inspector within our team. This multifaceted role requires expertise in magnetic particle testing methods, in addition to the responsibilities of ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications within our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will conduct inspections utilizing Mag Particle Testing (MT) techniques and support overall quality control initiatives.
Reports to: Quality Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) inspections according to established procedures and standards.
Conduct thorough examinations of components, materials, and products to identify surface and near-surface defects.
Interpret and evaluate inspection results, documenting findings accurately and generating detailed reports.
Utilize expertise in MT to detect discontinuities, cracks, and defects in ferrous materials.
Act as a Quality Inspector, ensuring compliance with quality standards, conducting visual inspections, and verifying specifications.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, offer guidance on corrective actions, and support process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, including training documentation and qualification records.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
