Responsibilities

As a Midas Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance services, including:

Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems

Tire installation and repair

Heating and air conditioning repair

Steering and suspension systems

Belt and hose replacement

Radiator and cooling system service

Battery, starting, and charging system diagnostics

Brake repair and replacement

Oil changes and routine maintenance

Check engine light diagnostics

Muffler and exhaust system repair

Visual safety and courtesy inspections

Qualifications

Proven ability to diagnose and repair vehicles independently

Strong knowledge in brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics

High level of personal productivity and accountability

Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations for automotive facilities

Experience using shop equipment (lifts, alignment machines, tire changers, scan tools, etc.)

High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred)

State-specific auto repair certifications (where applicable)

Valid drivers license

Own tools and equipment (diagnostic tools a plus)

Ability to work on both domestic and foreign vehicles
